Our Baker, Mrs. Seraphim Afflick, is a girl who finds the hidden blessings in challenges. As a two-time cancer survivor she has learned how to see the good during hardships.
Seraphim recognized the beauty of families being able to sit and enjoy meals together based on her own life experiences! One of her favorite childhood memories is gathering around the table with her Mom, Dad, six sisters, and three brothers. They would share stories and laughter, make connections and cherish the company. Their special table time always concluded with a homemade dessert, which Seraphim recalls fondly having always anticipated excitedly!
